The entrance to Roncalli’s Fine Arts Center transformed into a vibrant gallery space during the 2025 Roncalli Student Art Show last week, which showcased an impressive array of student artwork.

The event featured a diverse collection of paintings, drawings, sculptures, furniture, clothing and other original artistic creations.

These works were the culmination of a year-long effort by Roncalli’s advanced placement (AP) art students, who proudly stood by their displays to share their inspiration and creative process with attendees. Each space highlighted the individual artist and a curated selection of their best pieces developed throughout the academic year.

The show was held under the guidance of longtime Roncalli art instructor Mark Stratton, whose mentorship has helped foster a strong tradition of artistic excellence at the school.

“It is always exciting to see the art students’ work at our annual exhibit. I am extremely proud of the students and their accomplishments,” Stratton shared. “is event allows a wonderful opportunity to exhibit their skillful work to peers, families and friends, which is always enjoyable.”

The art show not only celebrated the talent and dedication of these young artists but also highlighted the importance of arts education in cultivating creativity, expression and innovation.
