CONNECT 4 Kids is honored to partner with two local Mathnasium Learning Centers and their incredible owners! You will learn more about the Avon and Brownsburg centers in future issues, but we wanted to start off with a simple introduction. Summer is the perfect time to take advantage of their services!
What is Mathnasium? Where are the closest centers?
Mathnasium is your local Math-Only learning center. We provide year-round instruction that meets kids’ math learning needs where they are ready to learn and provide a customized curriculum to help them Catch-up, Keep-up, or Get-ahead! In Hendricks County we have locations in Avon and in Brownsburg, and there are several other locations in the Indianapolis area. Learn more at Mathnasium.com.
What core services do you provide, and who is your clientele?
We provide customized math learning for students of all ability levels from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Whether your child struggles in math or needs a greater challenge, our proven approach makes believers out of even the most skeptical parents and children. We teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.
Do you offer any special summer programs or events?
Summer programming and pricing varies by location. Call your local center for more information. All Mathnasium locations will provide a safe, friendly, and FUN summer experience to help your child avoid the Summer Slide of learning loss.
- The Avon and Brownsburg locations are both offering a special Summer Pre-Enrollment offer of $100 off when you enroll in a three-month service package. Plus, you’ll receive support in September for FREE! This offer is valid through June 2025 at these locations only. Call either center to enroll: 317-680-1980 (Avon) or 317-739-4219 (Brownsburg).
What is one tip you have for parents of school-age kids to help avoid the “Summer Slide”?
Find ways to include numbers into your everyday activities and experiences. With younger children you can COUNT everything! Count the cars in the parking lot, count the trees around the playground, count the penguins at the zoo. Point out the numbers on highway signs, and talk about how long it will take to drive to your summer adventure. Involve your children in cooking and baking, and put them in charge of measuring ingredients. Take older children to the store and show them how to find a good bargain. Math is everywhere once you start looking!
