Angela Vandersteen, Vice President of Investor Development and Relations at Aspire Economic Development + Chamber Alliance, brings a wealth of experience and collaborative leadership to her multifaceted role.
Angela’s position encompasses a dynamic array of responsibilities, from overseeing Aspire’s revenue streams to chamber programming and operations. She also leads Aspire’s marketing and communications to facilitating meaningful collaboration opportunities with outside organizations as well as member investors.
In addition to cultivating investor relationships, Angela plays a pivotal role in Aspire’s membership and programming efforts, and addresses questions and concerns to ensure that every member benefits from Aspire’s networking and events.
Before joining Aspire, Angela worked in mission-driven roles, including as Manager of Mission Advancement with Tangram and as an Account Manager at Bosma Enterprises. Her career began in media, where she worked as an Account Executive at WTHR-TV.
This background informs her ability to craft community marketing strategies while cultivating business, community and nonprofit partnerships. Under Angela’s leadership, Aspire recently earned an award from the Indiana Chamber Executives Association for its “Community Snapshot” marketing publication.
Angela’s passion for service is evident in her activism experience. She has served on the boards of The Governor’s Council for People with Disabilities, The Autism Society of Indiana, and the Diversity Roundtable of Central Indiana.
A lifelong resident of Central Indiana, Angela has called Greenwood home since 2003. Outside of her professional endeavors, she and her husband stay busy with activities with their four sons and hanging out with their adopted rescue dog and grandpuppy.
