City of Franklin Seeks Volunteer of the Year

We are currently accepting applications for the 2026 Volunteer of the Year Award! The Volunteer of the Year Award is presented to individuals who have displayed outstanding volunteer service in the community within the last year. We had many people step up in 2025 to help in our community, and we would love to recognize their efforts! Award recipients will receive city-wide recognition for their extraordinary efforts, their name on a plaque that hangs in City Hall, and a certificate for their achievement. The winner will be announced via social media and at a City Council meeting.

This award was created to recognize the extensive hours that volunteers contribute to ensuring the continued success of our community. Often, these efforts are behind the scenes and go without recognition. The volunteer award was named after a Franklin couple, Marty and Carolyn Williams, for their exemplary commitment of time, energy, and effort to ensure our events run smoothly. Volunteers deserve an opportunity for us to express our gratitude and recognition for their service.
