Ryan Jones Photography is a wife and husband team dedicated to sharing their love and passion for photography with the community.
Ryan Jones found his creative eye on a trip. “It started with a trip to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park in 2022. I wanted to purchase a camera to get better pics than just a cell phone could get. On the trip, while really having no clue how to even use the camera to its full potential, I developed a love for photography. After a while, it got to the point where I started believing I may be able to make it into something more.”
Cara Jones is the business-minded force behind the organization. “In August of this year, I told my wife that I would love it if this became “ours” instead of just my hobby. I wanted it to be something we could do together. Up to that point, she was very hands off. She supported me and my dream of making it more, but did so from a distance. Once I told her I wanted to do it together, it was “game on”. She was so excited and absolutely hit the ground running. She is the “business” mind. While I am the “creative” mind. Together, we make the perfect pair to complement each other and make this work…She truly is a rock star. Without her, this business and dream would never have a chance.”
Ryan Jones Photography offers different styles of photography, including senior shots, family shots, styled mini shoots, wedding and engagements, and events.
“Our oldest son is a Junior at Perry Meridian and was on the football team at the time (he has since chosen to go a different route). I worked with the coaching staff to have permission to do sideline photos for the team. I also did the same for our younger daughter who is a runner and swimmer. The kids, their teammates and parents, as well as their friends really enjoy the photos of themselves and their kids in action. We used that as an opportunity to connect more with the community.”
“We do not specifically have a mission or philosophy that guides us. However, we are a Christian family and do our best to operate in a Christ glorifying manner. We do our best to provide the best service we can, at an affordable price, while trying to grow.”
